Note: The registration fee includes the meals (lunch, dinner, and tea/coffee breaks) during the conference. However, it does not include accommodation.

In order to register for the event, please follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the online registration form and submit it before the deadline. The number of participants is limited, so register early to secure your spot.
  2. Pay the registration fee in INR only to the bank account indicated below. Please note that the fee is non-refundable and any additional charges by your bank or payment gateway are your responsibility.
  3. Wait for the confirmation email from the conference team. There will be no “on-the-spot” registration at the venue.

Abstracts for poster presentations from participants are invited on the following tracks:

  • Structured Cancer Databases- Clinical vs Research Databases

  • Current Trends in Cancer Omics

If you wish to present a poster at the conference, please follow these steps:

  1. Download the abstract template and fill it according to the instructions. Your abstract should not exceed 300 words and should use Times New Roman Font. You can acknowledge any grants for your research at the end of the abstract. 
  2. Save your abstract as a word document with a file size of less than 1 MB. 
  3. Submit your abstract using above link by 10 August 2023. 
  4. Wait for the confirmation email from conference team. Only selected abstracts will be invited for poster presentation. The selection and editing of the abstracts are solely the responsibility of the author(s). 
  5. If your abstract is selected, you will be included in the online abstract book of the conference and you will be asked to prepare your poster according to the guidelines that will be sent to you. 
  • The meeting begins at 2 pm on 06 October and ends in the evening of 08 October.
  • Please plan your travel accordingly.

Accommodation for the participants is available in and around IISER Pune Campus at a reasonable cost. However, the number of rooms is limited, so we advise you to book your accommodation as early as possible. Please use accommodation form to communicate your request to the conference team, they will get back to you based on the availability. Kindly note that filling in the form does not mean that the accommodation is confirmed. 

 

How to reach IISER, Pune?

IISER Pune is located in the Pashan region, surrounded by the beautiful Panchavati Hills and the CSIR-NCL campus on one side and the Aundh neighborhood on the other. If you're traveling by air, it's at most a 30-40 minute cab ride from Pune International Airport. If you're coming from Mumbai International Airport (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport), it takes nearly 3 hours via the Bengaluru-Mumbai Highway. For those traveling by train, the nearest railway station is Pune Junction. Taxis and rented cars are available at the station and take only 20 minutes to reach the campus.

Sir CV Raman Auditorium

The venue for all the presentations is the Sir CV Raman Auditorium, which is located inside the IISER’s Lecture Hall Complex. The easiest way to reach the Lecture Hall Complex is from the gate on Baner Road.

Registered participants can enjoy the conference lunch and dinners on the first floor of the Dining Complex.

There is a Cafe Coffee Day outlet on the second floor and a MDP outlet on the first floor of the Main Research building.

For quick snacks and beverages, you can visit the small Shivsagar canteen in the Lecture Hall Complex.

 

Hullabaloo Daycare @IISER Pune

Registered participants with children can use the day care facility on campus. The day care is open from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays and from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays. You will have to pay the emergency day care charges if you want to use the facility for a single day. The day care organizes various activities for different age groups. The children are provided with breakfast, lunch and snacks during the day.
