Workshop Overview

Designed for clinicians, researchers, and students, a focused pre-meeting workshop aims to the gap between next-generation sequencing (NGS) data and clinical research applications.

This interactive session will equip clinicians, researchers, and students with foundational and advanced skills to understand, interpret, and apply NGS reports to patient care and translational research.

Participants will learn how to navigate the complexities of genomic data, interpret variant annotations, assess clinical relevance, and understand the impact of findings in a real-world setting.

When does registration open and close?

• Registration opens on 30 April 2024.

• Early bird registration rates are valid until 30 June 2025.

• Regular registration rates will apply from 1 July 2025 onwards.

• On-spot registration will be available at the venue at higher rates for limited categories.

Should I pay first or fill the registration form first?

• First pay the registration fee using the appropriate Payment Link.

• Then fill the registration form and upload your payment proof (screenshot with transaction ID).

What information will the Payment Link collect during payment?

• The Payment Link will collect your Name, Phone Number, and Email ID during the payment process.

What should I do after making the payment?

• Save a screenshot with the transaction ID of the successful payment.

• Complete the Registration Form and upload your payment proof when prompted.

When will I receive the receipt for my payment?

Receipts will be sent to the registered email address within 7 working days after you submit the registration form (not immediately after payment).

What if I face a payment failure or technical issue?

• If your payment fails, you may attempt to pay again.

• If you are charged twice or encounter any technical error, please email us at icga2025@icga.co.in with proof of transaction for assistance and refund processing.

Are registration fees refundable?

• Registration fees are non-refundable.

Does the registration fee include accommodation?

• No, the registration fee does not include accommodation.

• Accommodation must be arranged and paid for separately by participants.

How can I submit an abstract for ICGA 2025?

• Abstract submission is included within the same registration form.

• If you wish to submit an abstract, please upload your abstract in Word (.docx) format when prompted in the form.

• There is no separate abstract submission form.

Schedule

1. The pre-meeting workshop is scheduled for 14th November and will take place at Hall No. 3, ICSR Complex, IIT Madras. Registered participants are kindly requested to report to the venue by 8:30 AM.
2. The main meeting will commence on 14th November with lunch and will conclude on 16th November at 6:00 PM, followed by high tea. All talks and panel discussions will be held at the T.T.J. Auditorium, located within the ICSR Complex.
3. The poster presentation session is scheduled for 15th November and will be hosted at the Exhibition Hall, ICSR Complex, IIT Madras.
4. Mentor-Mentee sessions will be held during breaks and timing will be communicated to the participants who have registered for these sessions.

Final agenda will be shared closer to the event.
