How to Apply

Becoming a member is simple. Here’s what to do:

  1. Choose your membership type
  2. Complete the online application form (with required documents: PAN/ID, nominee details for institutions, statement of interest)
  3. Pay the membership fee (via payment gateway or bank transfer) – if applicable
  4. Membership Development Committee and Board Review & Approval (3–4 weeks)
  5. On approval: MoU/Letter is signed to establish the membership – membership starts from date of Board resolution
  6. On rejection: Fee may be refunded or converted into donation at your request 

Note: All membership applications are subject to review and approval by ICGA’s Board of Directors. If an application is not approved, the membership fee may either be refunded upon request.

Q: Is there a deadline to apply?

A: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Earlier applicants may receive priority for upcoming events or data access.

Q: What happens after I apply?

A: You will receive an email confirmation. ICGA’s Membership Committee will review your submission within 3-4 weeks.

Q: Can I renew or upgrade my membership later?

A: Yes. Renewals and upgrades follow a streamlined process with ICGA approval.

Q: What if I represent an institution?

A: Institutions operate through a nominated representative. Nominee details must be provided in the application form.

Q: What happens to the membership fee in case my application is rejected?

A: If your membership is not approved by the Board, ICGA will refund your payment. You may also request to treat it as a donation.
